The 2011 Canadian Grief and Bereavement Conference:
Circle of Hope and Healing
The theme for the 2011 Conference is “Circle of Hope and Healing". Our conference will once again be held at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel. It will take place October 27 - 29, 2011.

Opening Session: Dr. Bill Webster takes a familiar story to all to develop an allegory of grief and grieving, to show that it is not what happens, but how we allow ourselves to be affected by what happens that really counts. How the red shoes fit will surprise you.

Grief and bereavement is something that touches everyone at some point in their lives.

For those who are in positions and vocations where they are working with those who are grieving and/or bereaved, it is important that they are equipped with the tools and strategies that will assist them, and those they are assisting, to move forward in a positive manner.

This second annual conference, initiated by Bereaved Families of Ontario, will be focused on how grief and bereavement workers can provide support, understanding and encouragement to both those they service, and each other.
